Vermont Department of Corrections: Department of corrections reentry program for the state of Vermont.
Brattleboro Community Justice Center Prisoner Re-entry/COSA – “We affirm that the community bears responsibility for the re-integration of offenders and the restoration of victims. Although judicial and correctional systems have assumed this responsibility historically, we believe that it is essential to the life of the community that it reclaims its role in dealing with criminal conflict, with victims and offenders.”
Burlington Offender Re-Entry Housing Program – its mission is to assist both incarcerated and community-based offenders (under high-level Department of Corrections (DOC) supervision) with housing placement. The Offender Re-entry Housing Specialists (ORHS) coordinate with staff at correctional facilities and local probation/parole offices to provide program participants with the smoothest transition into housing possible.
COSA/Restorative Reentry Program – “[T]he Reentry Program of the Montpelier Community Justice Center has a proven track record of helping people leave and stay out of prison. It has achieved significant savings–both in dollars and in human suffering.”
Restorative Justice Re-entry Initiatives: Offenders returning to the community after a prison term face many challenges to successful reintegration including the issues that first sent them to prison. Restorative practices are increasingly being used to help inmates make this transition back to their families and communities.
Vermont Association of Business Industry and Rehabilitation – offers a statewide offender Reentry program.
